Turned in my first draft of “How to Pick A Spouse” to the publishers. If they say yes, great! If they say no, I’ll be in the same class as J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter) and Frank Herbert (Dune) who had their “great works”  turned down by publishers as not being good enough!

My own lovely spouse Pam won the “Best Supporting Role” award at the 2010 Academy Awards Ceremony (a.k.a. my 30th anniversary of ministry celebration last month). Here she is receiving her well-deserved honors from none other than Governor Linda Lingle. Funny thing is, after the program ended, Pam stumbled upon another award left on the side of the stage. It had an engraved plate saying, “Best Wife.”

“Who’s getting this one?!” she asked. I won’t post that picture here. But I’ll just say thank God for helping me choose a spouse with a sense of humor.
